Mike Patton is a highly sought-after benefits advisor with a passion to fix the rampant healthcare inflation problem. He began his career as a college football coach at Colorado State and had been working in healthcare since 2012. Mike’s sharp intellect and strategic thinking have made him one of the leading minds in employee benefits and he frequently speaks on the subject at industry events.

Mike is a healthcare visionary. He became passionate about healthcare and the inflation involved when a patient came into the doctor’s office he was working at with a nearly $600,000 pacemaker. This leads him to benefits consulting. He has consulted on hundreds of self-funded cases and is an industry leader in self-funding, direct agreements with providers and facilities, as well as integrating these platforms into high performance health plans.

Prior to transitioning into the Health Insurance Industry in 2022, Rebecca worked in Commercial Real Estate and Development as the Chief Operating Officer of a NYC real estate firm. During this time, Rebecca honed her skills in management, planning, coordination, communication, and, most importantly, leadership.

Rebecca’s passion for helping others eventually led her to begin a consulting business where she used her skill set to help other companies implement new systems, initiatives, and position themselves for ultimate success. From there, she was introduced to Excel Health Plans. Excel offered Rebecca a unique opportunity to not only help an organization become successful but also allow Rebecca to be part of an even greater cause: the mission of transforming the healthcare industry. Rebecca serves as Excel Health Plans’ Chief Operating Officer. Working for Excel has allowed her to use her nearly 20 years of business experience to impact change and cultivate a team of like-minded individuals whose values align with the mission of impacting lives by offering affordable and quality healthcare.
